About the performers

The renowned Tosca String Quartet gained an international following with soundtrack and on-screen work in Richard Linklater's arthouse hit film Waking Life. They toured the world with David Byrne from 2001-2005 and have recorded or performed with the Dixie Chicks, Arcade Fire, Spoon, Bonnie Raitt, Ray LaMontagne, Susana Baca, Bob Schneider, Ian McLagan, Ray Benson, Vampire Weekend and DeVotchKa.

Erin Ivey is an award-winning singer/songwriter and a Texas Music Magazine Artist of the Year, known for musical adventurousness that "stands out in a town saturated with singer-songwriters" (Austin Chronicle). With albums on multiple Top 10 lists, a 5-star review in Austin Monthly, and a Kickstarter campaign that raised 154% of its goal, Erin has played hundreds of live shows nationwide, supporting the likes of Ralph Stanley, Shawn Colvin, and Loudon Wainwright, and has "quietly become one of our city's biggest critical successes" (KUT 90.5FM).

See them together in this intimate and unforgettable live studio recording experience.
